What a fantastic start to the season for our incredible Minor girls! 💪💚
They kicked off their Division 4 camogie campaign on Saturday 21st February with a brilliant performance against Naomh Maur, securing a 3-3 to 0-4 victory. It was a proud milestone for the team, the very first competitive Minor camogie game played on our new pitch and grounds! Despite the windy conditions, the girls showed determination, teamwork and skill from start to finish.
The following weekend, on Saturday 28th February, they stepped up to Division 3 football against a strong Naomh Olaf side. In a fiercely contested, end-to-end encounter, the girls battled right to the final whistle and came away with a narrow but well earned 5-12 to 5-10 victory. There were some fantastic scores on the board and huge heart and work rate shown throughout the game.
The journey continues this Saturday, 7th March, as they travel to Lusk for their next camogie clash, with throw-in at 3.30pm.
Let’s get behind these hardworking players and show them the support they deserve.
Every cheer counts — see you there! 🙌💚
