New Development Progress
We have made significant progress on the completion of the development over the last number of months and we are extremely close to opening our new club development clubhouse and grounds. A lot has been achieved however there have been some risks identified which have caused delays on some elements, unfortunately which have impacted our timelines, mitigation planning was implemented to minimise the impact. These mitigations and impacts need to be evaluated vs our original plan.
As a result we are currently awaiting a final work schedule and plan from the builder for the full opening of the development. We hope to have this update in the next week or so and upon receipt we will provide a more detailed update.
What else has happened over the last number of weeks;
Received formal approval from GAA National Finance Committee for financial forecast plan and loan facility.
Navigation through a complex legal situation, which had significantly delayed our ability to draw down on loan funds and successfully managed club cashflow during this period [ This issue also impacted our ability to proceed with Sports Capital Grant ] it was a significant issue that would have had a major impact on our plans if not resolved.
Pitch side sign tender ( which incorporates internal & external club signs and statement pieces) - Final proofs are in progress and engagement plans have kicked off with Sponsors for artwork to facilitate pitch sign installation, which we expect to commence installation in late August.
Commercial Offering catalogue and online tool set up is in progress and will be launched for members and external parties to pre-book our facilities for parties etc..
Grant planning is in progress and mobilise to draw down on remaining four grants
Additional grant planning for the supply of additional & expanding services and offerings for our club members
Full scope agreement for a comprehensive maintenance plan for our pitches & development including sourcing additional machinery, mower, pitch markers etc..
Way of working model ( ie Bar Committee ) & finance planning finalised and mobilisation and implementation planning in progress to ensure delivery of club commitments in new development over the coming years.
Our club history planning restoration of our club history pictures, jerseys, and medals, trophies with a dedicated space in our new club development, plans are at an advanced stage and awaiting agreement to proceed.

-Handover readiness and preparation
-New Club working model planning & decision made - A Call for support and action across a number of areas to ensure we deliver on commitments both in operational model and finance commitments - Commencing with our -2025 Club Car Draw
-Celebration planning, activities and formal opening
-Closure of Bremore Park
With a project of this scale and size there are still a number of known risks which we are currently tracking and working on mitigating that may impact on our timelines. All efforts are made to minimise or prevent risk but we are coming across changes in legislation, health & safety and tweaks to the end development that could not have been known or forseen until this point of the project.
