💚WHAT A DAY IN O’DWYERS GAA💚

Now that the dust has settled on our Palestine Aid Appeal Day, we would like to thank everyone that came out and supported our day, it was a massive success. We hope that you all enjoyed yourselves!

Mother nature was not kind to us, and we lost a lot of our planned on field activities. In the clubhouse the day got going with a coffee morning, which was well supported. Many thanks to everyone that donated sweet treats, they were gorgeous!

And then the music began…. What can we say ? other than thank you to all the local artists and groups that gave up their time and talent for this wonderful cause. You had the place rocking from start to finish and we are so thankful to you . We are looking forward to seeing you all play in our new Clubhouse soon.

We broke for the Dublin game and were served up a cracker! which only added to the already electric atmosphere in the Clubhouse.

We then had a moving speech from the inspirational Dr. David Hickey, ex Dublin All Ireland winner and longtime Palestine activist.

It was now Raffle time, the Club would like to thank everyone that donated prizes, local businesses, Club teams & Club members, your generosity contributed massively to the success of the day.
If you were a lucky winner and have still not collected your prize, please contact the Club for details.

Back to the music, and the night was rounded off by three more wonderful artists who had the place rocking to close.

O’Dwyers would also like to thank and acknowledge the support from Balbriggan Swimming Socks , Balbriggan Road Runners and Bracken Boxing Club who all ran very successful Palestine fundraising events, when all monies are gathered up the 4 Clubs will make a joint donation to the Irish Red Cross on behalf of everyone that supported the events, more details to follow.

Thank you to our friends in Skerries Harps for sending on these lovely photos.

Once again, a massive thank you for your support, kindness, and solidarity.
